As a Barnardos Childhood Friend, you can help to give children the support they need to lift them out of the downward spiral of poverty. Regular gifts to Barnardos can give children in Ireland the opportunity to develop the skills they need to develop into happy, independent adults.

Lasting friendship – the greatest gift you can give vulnerable children

As a Barnardos Childhood Friend, you will be helping to prevent or tackle the difficulties of poverty faced by so many children in Ireland today. We cannot change their lives overnight, but over time your regular gifts to Barnardos will help to give them the building blocks they need to create a better life. Barnardos in Ireland relies heavily on Barnardos Childhood Friends to help us provide effective services for children and families when and where they are needed. Your regular gifts will help us to be there for vulnerable children for as long as they need us. Thank you for your lasting gift of friendship

How your regular gift can help vulnerable children

€7 per month could provide an educational toy for a child who has no toys of their own.
€10 per month could provide a week's worth of warm, nutritious breakfasts for children at one of our Breakfast Clubs.
€21 per month could provide essential counseling for a child who has been left bereaved.
