Everyone has their ups and downs in life but sometimes you might find you are going through a difficult issue that you need some help with. Teen Help is our dedicated section to help and support teenagers. We also have lots of other information that may be useful for school projects and of course, ways in which you can get involved and support Barnardos as a volunteer or fundraiser.
One of our aims is to help parents to be the best that they can be. We provide a range of booklets for parents of teenagers and young children to help them support their child through difficult times and to support their positive development. In addition we provide training courses, and we also have a database of all parenting courses available in Ireland.
We produce the best available evidence of what works to improve outcomes for children, young people and families.
