Barnardos has teamed up with The Irish Parachute Club to offer you and your workmates the experience of a lifetime!

You can sign up for a skydive any time of the year by following these 3 easy steps;

Step 1:  Contact us on fundraising@barnardos.ie to receive your fundraising pack including sponsorship cards, a Barnardos t-shirt and a Disclaimer form.  Please include names, addresses, contact numbers, email addresses and t-shirt size of those taking part.

Step 2:  To book your Skydive or Parachute Jump click on the link below for all the information

www.skydive.ie: The Irish Parachute Club – you can do a solo parachute jump or a tandem skydive taking up to four at a time!

Step 3: Return your disclaimer form to Barnardos and get fundraising!!

 

Or how about trekking in some of Ireland's most beautiful mountains?

Barnardos and Hilltoptreks have teamed up to take you and your colleagues on some of the most challenging treks in Ireland! This is the perfect opportunity to get your walking boots on and witness some of Ireland’s most spectacular scenery!  

Climb the highest peak in your province:

Leinster Challenge - Lugnaquillia Co. Wicklow: 925m 8hrs
Munster Challenge - Carauntoohil Co. Kerry: 1039m 8hrs 
Connacht Challenge - Mweelrea Co. Mayo: 841m 8hrs
Ulster Challenge - Slieve Donard Co. Down: 825m 6hrs

Is Comedy Your Thing?

Comedy Nights in the Laughter Lounge

There are three options for a fundraising night in the Laughter Lounge to choose from depending on the funds.

 1 - €1,000  - Each week the Laughter Lounge give away 50 tickets at just €5 each to any charity or person fund raising for a charity initiative. These tickets can be sold at whatever price you like. Selling at their regular price of €25 will raise €1000 for Barnardos

 2 - €3,000 - Each month the Laughter Lounge gives away 150 reserved seats tickets for one of their shows at just €5 each to one charity event. These tickets can be sold at whatever price required. Selling at their regular price of €25 will raise €3,000 for Barnardos

 3 - €5,000 - €17,000 - The venue with a capacity of 350 seats is available for exclusive use for a charity night. This is quoted on an individual basis and can involve the Laughter Lounge sourcing the comedians, marketing the show in listings sections of 28 local and national publications, selling the tickets through their box office and website. Tickets can be charged between €20 and €50 for these with recent events raising between €5,000 - €17,000.

A comedy fundraising night would need a dedicated team of supporters who take responsibility for marketing and selling the tickets. The Laughter Lounge can help the team promote this night to their friends and colleagues. They will produce branded tickets with the name of your event and colour posters to promote the night at no extra cost.
 
The night would entail full bar with table service and a range of cocktails. They will book 4 comedians catering for all tastes.

Does your company have an office comedian?  

Or better yet is there anyone in the company who fancies themselves as a bit of a comedian? You can sponsor a workmate to do a five minute warm up slot on the night! Barnardos will provide Barnardos branded t-shirts and sponsorship envelopes for the budding comedian! If they are too shy to come forward you can have a vote and nominate someone!!

Optional Extras for the night -

Welcome - reception with cocktails as required.
Eat - Food options include delicious BBQ finger food or a 3 course dinner
Auctions - who better to host your auction than one of the funniest comedians in town?
Matched Funds – your company could match any funds raised on the night.
