‘On Yer Bike' for Barnardos
How far will your company get?
Mizen to............Tralee 110km
Mizen to............Galway 310km
Mizen to............Sligo 449km
OR
Mizen to............Malin 625km
The more teams that get involved the further you will get.
For example:
With 10 teams of 4...
2 teams competing per hour, over 5 hours...
Each participant would need to cycle 15.6km in their 15 minute slot to reach Malin in 1 day.
The more teams, the less kilometres to cycle each.
We would love you and your colleagues to join in the fun.

Amdocs took up the On Yer Bike Challenge for Barnardos!
Congratualation to Amdocs staff who cycled the distance from Sandyford to Galway on Friday, 26th March. The staff did a fantastic job and worked together to clock up the miles!
Amdocs had this to say about taking part in the On Yer Bike Challenge:
“We participated in the "On Yer Bike" event to raise funds and awareness for our charity partner, Barnardos. It was a perfect event for our employees as it brought out some friendly competitiveness and a good boost of team spirit. Between all the cyclists, cheering spectators and sponsors, we had lots of enthusiastic participants who made the day an absolute success”

A big thank you to all staff involved, the money raised will be put straight to use to help vulnerable children and families that we work with across Ireland.
Dell workers had the following to say about their very successful On Yer Bike Challenge:
"The key objectives for the Dell 'On Yer Bike' were for a fun, team building event that would raise awareness and some funds for Ireland's leading children's charity, Barnardos. On all counts the day was a resounding success, with fantastic participation both on and off the bikes. The success of the day far exceeded expectations and it was a privilege to be part of this event. Our plan now is to develop the Dell 'On Yer Bike' event on an even bigger scale for 2010."
Congratulations to the Meteor staff who took part in their own 'On Yer Bike' for Barnardos challenge on Friday 24th July. There were lots of sore legs around the Meteor offices on Friday afternoon after a huge effort was made on the bikes. A massive 421 KM was cycled all together by the 61 staff that participated which is the equivalent to cycling from Mizen Head to Sligo in one day, so WELL DONE!
