SUMMARY:Dublin - Support group for Parents of Young Adopted Adults
DESCRIPTION:Barnardos Post Adoption Service would like to invite parents of
  young adopted adults (post-secondary school to age 24) to an informal sup
 port morning .\n\nThis group aims to provide a safe space for parents who 
 may be struggling with their children as they emerge into adulthood. This 
 particular age group may present with both emotional and behaviour challen
 ges\, as they navigate the transition to independent life as an adopted yo
 ung adult.\n\nWe are aware that often the needs of some young adults are p
 articularly high which\, in turn\, presents parents with a lot of ongoing 
 stress and worry.\n\nThis group invites parents to share their stories and
  to support each other on this journey in an honest and non-judgemental wa
