Throughout the Covid 19 pandemic, Barnardos has provided essential frontline services to vulnerable children and families across Ireland, and continues to do so.
Our Early Years services remain open to children and parents and we continue to provide critically needed intensive support for children and families in all of our centres across the country.
Many children and parents are struggling to cope with the effects of lockdown and we are deeply concerned about the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable children during this crisis.
Barnardos are committed to providing the practical and emotional support that children and their families need during this new lockdown period.
We have collated a number of activities under the themes of Heart, Body and Mind to keep your children engaged and things the family can do together.
It is important to engage with our children every day in a positive way.
You will find our Wellbeing for Parents section via the link below (Heart, Body and Mind) providing parents with tips on how to check in and be kind to themselves.

Call back request formOur vision is that children reach their potential and have happy, healthy and safe lives, both offline and online. That’s why, in response to the Covid-19 restrictions that have been placed on schools for the foreseeable future, we have adapted our online safety programme and can offer live, online workshops as an alternative to face-to-face.
