No child or young person should be left to struggle alone without support. As a Barnardos Friendly Giant you will be a constant presence in so many children's lives: making their days, and their futures, immeasurably brighter.

A regular monthly donation to Barnardos will help change the world for thousands of children in Ireland who are living with the effects of disadvantage and inequality; children who are living without the opportunities in life that they all deserve.

We rely heavily on Barnardos Friendly Giants to help us provide effective services for children and families when and where they are needed. Your regular monthly gift will mean more than just financial support though. For the children we work with having your support means they will know that there are people who want to help them, people who believe in them and their future. That moral support means so much.

How your regular gift can help vulnerable children

• €7 per month could provide an educational toy for a child who has no toys of their own.
• €10 per month could provide a week's worth of warm, nutritious breakfasts for children at one of our Breakfast Clubs.
• €21 per month could provide essential counselling for a child who has been left bereaved.
