Petermarkathon 2023
We're absolutely thrilled to announce our partnership with award winning Irish hairdressing chain Peter Mark for its annual 'Petermarkathon' which will run nationwide from 23rd-31st October.
At Barnardos we are truly delighted to have been selected as the Peter Mark Charity Partner for 2023. Together, with your help, we hope to raise much needed funds to help the most vulnerable children and families in Ireland. It will be a long Winter for some children without sufficient food, heat and electricity. We know that childhood lasts a lifetime – the longer a child spends living in a household without essentials, the greater the impact on their current and future wellbeing and development. The Petermarkathon has run for the last 11 years with this being the 12th year. It has raised approximately €770k to date for various charities. There are 69 salons on the island of Ireland (6 in Northern Ireland).
Each Peter Mark salon is tasked with creating their own unique way of raising money; customers can expect pyjama parties, fancy dress, raffles, games, and many other fun filled events. The Petermarkathon runs from October 23rd until October 30th.
