Teddy Bear Raffle


Raffle a Barnardos Teddy Bear this year and be a part of a magical Christmas appeal that’s raised over €800,000 in support of our work with children and families across Ireland!

Proceeds from our annual Teddy Bear Raffle have helped us to continue our vital programmes such as education, literacy and social skills development for young children, parenting programmes and after school groups for families as well as specialised support for children affected by issues associated with disadvantage, drugs, alcohol or violence.

This year, we are delighted that once again our raffle is sponsored by Build-A-Bear.

To take part, simply sign up below and receive a Teddy Bear & raffle pack to raffle at your place of work, school or community group!

It’s easy to take part….

  • Register your details using the form below, or contact us on 01 453 0355 or [email protected]
  • We’ll send you a Barnardos Teddy Bear Raffle Pack with all you need to hold your raffle: Your Teddy Bear in their cute Barnardos T-shirt, raffle tickets, posters and leaflets.
  • Sell your raffle tickets for €3 each (or 2 for €5) and pick a date to hold your draw in December!
  • Return your funds before Friday 17th December to ensure you make children’s spirits bright this Christmas.
  • Every group that raffles a Barnardos Bear and returns their funds before Friday 17th December is automatically entered into our grand prize draw to win a fantastic prize.

Raffle Hints & Tips

Not sure how a raffle might work this year, with some of you still working from home? Don’t worry - we’re here to help and give you some ideas. There are many ways to participate safely and successfully, while enjoying the festivities.

  • You can ask your colleagues, classmates and friends to buy tickets digitally instead of using cash. You can use PayPal, Revolut or a bank transfer. Don’t forget to collate and send all the ticket sales to us in one go, once your raffle is over. You could even set up a Facebook Fundraiser!
  • Try hosting a virtual draw over Zoom to pick the winner. You can even invite your ticket-holders to wear a Christmas jumper and have a fun break from your regular Zoom meetings!
  • You don’t need to use the raffle tickets if you are not comfortable doing so. You can keep a tally of who’s bought a ticket, and what number each ticket has printed on it. Then you can do a virtual raffle draw using a random number generator online.
  • We can send you digital copies of the raffle poster and leaflet to circulate via email. Just pop us an email at [email protected]!
  • You can send your raffle funds to us via our website here once your raffle is over, no need to post cash to us. Make sure to note the name of your organisation in the comment box.

*Grand Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

  1. No cash alternative is available.
  2. Each registered Teddy Bear Raffle holder who returns their funds from their raffle before Friday the 17th December will automatically be entered into our grand prize draw.
  3. The registered contact from each Teddy Bear Raffle will be the contact name for the prize draw. The winning raffle contact will be notified by telephone and allocation of the prize is then decided by that contact.
  4. The final winner’s details must be confirmed in full to Barnardos.
