Raising Adopted Children - Online Workshop

The aim of this online workshop is to support parents with additional parenting skills essential in nurturing adopted children - either born in Ireland or around the world.

We will be using the breakout facility to provide an opportunity to meet other parents and share ideas and strategies.

Workshop Topics:

• the role and value of play
• managing anxiety in children
• school and homework
• behavioural challenges
• friendships

 

This workshop will be facilitated by Andrew Walker and Denise Gordon of Barnardos Post Adoption Service.
