Barnardos Post Adoption Services is holding an online workshop for adoptive parents on the topic of teenagers and social relationships. The workshop will be run by Kasia Purcell and Cristín Ingleis who are with our Dublin and Cork teams, together with Catherine an experienced parent of adopted teens!

Workshop will cover:

Why friendships can be challenging
What might be developmental stage or adoption/trauma related
Internal voices / external behaviours
Social anxiety - examples of how this plays out, introverted or extroverted teen
Online friendships - draw of the phone
How to support your teen
