Birth Mothers Zoom Course

Course will take place over six Wednesdays: September 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, and October 6th, and 13th 2021.

Course content

The aim of the course is to provide a safe and confidential support experience for women. The following topics will be covered during the course, among others:

• Parting with a child for adoption
• How this experience has affected the mother's life
• Perspectives of adopted adults and adoptive parents
• Searching for or being contacted by an adopted son or daughter
• Outcomes of search
• Relationships after reunion

The group will be run by our specialist post adoption staff. Follow up meetings both in person and online will be provided.
