Legal Aid & The Courts Service

When do I need to seek Legal Advice?

If you receive a letter informing you of your Care Order
Court Date and/or are informed by a social worker that they are applying for a
Care Order for your child, you may want to seek legal advice and
representation.

This can be done by hiring a solicitor privately or by applying
for Legal Aid.

More information on Care Orders and the Social Care System
can be found here.
