The Oscars came to Dublin on Friday 14th October with the 3rd Applegreen Ball, bringing together colleagues, suppliers and friends to raise vital funds to support Ireland’s children.

Hosted by Sile Seoige, Applegreen’s ‘A night at the Oscars’ in aid of Barnardos successfully raised over €117,000 towards Early Years services for vulnerable children across Ireland under the age of five.

Speaking at the event Barnardos CEO Fergus Finlay commended Applegreen staff, customers and supporters who have already helped to transform the lives of hundreds of children across the country since the partnership began in February. The funds raised from the Ball will go even further to ensure more children receive the vital supports they need to get the best start in life.

Here at Barnardos we would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved in making this event a success and to the Applegreen customers and staff who continue to raise vital funds and awareness for the children we work with through this partnership.

Together we can change a child’s life.
