Community Employment Vacancies

Barnardos currently has a number of community employment vacancies within our retail CE scheme. 

Position: Sales Assistant
Locations: Dun Laoghaire, Rathmines, Kilbarrack, Clondalkin, Wexford and Carlow.
Duties: To assist in the day to day running of the shop including stocking shelves, sorting stock, pricing stock, stock rotation and cash register duties, ensuring window displays are attractive and any other reasonable duties requested by the shop management.

Position: Warehouse Assistant
Location: Ballycoolin Dublin 15 - The warehouse is not on a bus route, and transport would be needed to get to this location.
Duties: To assist in the day to day running of the warehouse including, unloading and loading stock, label removal, stock taking duties, pricing and tagging, preparation of merchandise for delivery, participation in the Barnardos pop-up shops and any other reasonable duties requested by the shop management. Must have a keen interest in fashion.

Community Employment is a great opportunity to learn new skills or develop existing skills. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. All posts are 19.5 hours per week, and are subject to DSP eligibility requirements.

To be eligible for CE you must be in receipt of a payment from the DSP for a minimum of twelve months.
