The Barnardos Christmas Appeal will launch on Friday 24th November 2017 - keep an eye on www.barnardos.ie/christmas to find out more about how you can help Make a Child's Christmas this year.
Due to the phenomenal success of the GLS Toy Appeal over the years we have been able to form relationships with many companies across the country who are now in a position to satisfy our toy requests in full. For this reason we have decided to ask people to support the children Barnardos is working with in other ways this year at www.barnardos.ie/christmas
GLS have been an incredible supporter of Barnardos and it is through their assistance and that of the public that we can fulfil the toy needs of our projects across the country and begin to focus on other ways of assisting families at Christmas and through the winter period and well into the New Year.
Many of the families we work with struggle, particularly at Christmas, having to choose between heating their home and putting food on the table. Barnardos services are a lifeline to many children and families at this time of year and through your support we can ensure not just a magical Christmas for them but also a Brighter 2018.
