Christmas at Barnardos was very special. It was special because every child we work with had a gift to unwrap on Christmas morning which created thousands of smiles across Ireland!
Over 30 projects around the country were supported with toys and gifts for children of all ages through the generosity of corporate partners, community groups and individuals. We received over €31,000 in gift vouchers for supermarkets, practical items and family days out to name a few. This ensured that children and families across Ireland were able to enjoy a quality Christmas dinner, create new memories together and had the necessary warm clothing and bedding to cope with the cold winter months.
