Programme aims:The course is aimed at parents of younger children, but modified according to the group. Objective of the course is to address how parents interact with their children, focusing on positive parenting and positive discipline.
Resources used:The programme was developed by John Sharry of the Mater Hospital. The course is DVD based showing examples from real parents and children. Participants are given homework each week, usually a task to work on with the children. It is delivered in a group setting with additional one to one work if required.
