Visits centre around the individual needs of the parent. Provide support to all parents of children 0-5 years. Rapid response breast feeding support to help establish breast feeding routine in the early days.
This programme is about starting the journey of becoming self-reliant and independent. Its aim is to prepare and help the parent as their teenager prepares to expand relationships beyond the family network. To prepare the parent for change/struggle/first steps towards independence as their teenager meets new challenges during their teenage years.
Providing parenting support in a variety of models including: public seminars/talks, half day workshops, 3-6 week courses, 1 day weekend course and small group work.
This programme aims to develop learning and thinking abilities. The logo, a triangle (Greek letter ‘D’), symbolises partnership with parents.
This course aims to prepare parent for first time parenting role, new addition to the family, anxieties/worries.
To empower, encourage and educate fathers, mothers and others who parent in the holistic development of their children, with particular emphasis on the new born to age five years. To raise awareness of parenting as crucial in the development of community. To promote inter-community dialogue based on the common concern of parents for the future of their children, so that children will no longer be marginalised and excluded from future opportunities for development as individuals and citizens
