Community Employment (CE) is designed to help people who are long-term unemployed get back to work by offering part-time and temporary placements (19.5 hours per week) as well as FETAC accredited and in house training provided by Barnardos. The initial contract is for one year but may be renewed depending on participant circumstances and Dept of Social Protection policy.
