This workshop is suitable for Early Years Educators working with infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers interested in learning more about the Key Person approach.

The aim of the workshop is to advance the educators knowledge and understanding of the key person approach and to consider its practical implementation

The workshop will highlight the benefits of integrating this approach so that children can thrive in your service and benefit from this support structure.

Following the workshop, participants will be able to:

• Describe what the key person approach is and explain the different models
• Recognise the role this approach has on the development of secure attachments
• Consider the benefits and challenges of the key person approach in practice
• Reflect on current practice of implementing the key person approach and/or where to begin

Participants who complete the training webinar will receive an Attendance Certificate.
