Barnardos will host a confidential, online support group for individuals who are subjects of illegal birth registration.
The purpose of the group is to provide a safe and confidential space for individuals to meet others who have been impacted by illegal birth registration and to avail of support.
The session will include aspects of self-care, hearing other people’s stories in relation to what stage they are at since discovery of illegal birth registration, will provide mutual support to other attendees and will explore ideas for future supports for those who were illegally registered at birth.
