Barnardos Children’s Bereavement Service will host a training webinar for primary and secondary school staff seeking to support children experiencing traumatic bereavement.
After this training you will:
- Feel familiar with the range of needs of bereaved children, parents and caregivers
- Recognise both trauma and grief, and how they intersect as traumatic grief
- Respond helpfully to children’s trauma and grief in your role
- Identify accurately when the child needs specialist support
- Help to create possibilities for resilience and growth within your service/organisation
- Possess a toolkit of resources, networks, organisations and supports for trauma and grief
