- Barnardos Big Breakfast Ambassador Carl Mullan launches brand new national campaign
- Turn tea and toast into real change – register for your Barnardos Big Breakfast today.
Wed 1st Oct: Barnardos children’s charity has launched an exciting new fundraising campaign where you can turn your morning coffee, croissants, or cornflakes into a meaningful way to support vulnerable children in Ireland.
Whether you’re an early riser or brunch lover, a business, school, club, or community group, everyone can get involved. Simply host a breakfast, coffee morning, or bake sale – at home, at work, in your local hall or even virtually – and help to raise money to support Barnardos’ work with vulnerable children, families, and individuals.
Launching the Barnardos Big Breakfast, Ambassador Carl Mullan said: ‘I am proud to be part of Barnardos Big Breakfast. At home we know how important it is for the kids to enjoy a healthy breakfast; it sets them up for the day – my hope is that more children will be able to experience this thanks to this fun way to raise money for Barnardos. It’s a wonderful organisation making a real change in children’s lives. So sign up today and turn tea and toast into real change.’
Mary Gamble, Director of Fundraising at Barnardos, said: ‘Barnardos Breakfast Clubs, in our Early Years services and in schools, provide children with a warm, nutritious breakfast to help set them up for the day of learning ahead. Every breakfast hosted helps to fill a child’s tummy so they can grow strong and healthy; and helps provide children with the essentials they need to thrive. Because childhood lasts a lifetime.’
People can sign up to host your Big Breakfast today and help change the story for vulnerable children.
Because Childhood Lasts A Lifetime.
