| Programme aims: | To: This programme is about starting the journey of becoming self-reliant and independent. Its aim is to prepare and help the parent as their teenager prepares to expand relationships beyond the family network. To prepare the parent for change/struggle/first steps towards independence as their teenager meets new challenges during their teenage years. |

| Experience: | 25 years experience working with children and parents through my playschool Aylesbury Preschool Playgroup. I have facilitated this course at Westgate Foundation. I have given talks to parents at primary and secondary schools, Ballincollig. I meet parents on a one-to-one basis. I am a registered tutor with Cork Education & Training Board, formerly VEC. I am a fully accredited member of IARM – Irish Association of Relationship Mentors. |
