Barnardos have to raise €9 million every year in order to ensure our children’s services can continue and we rely on our partners and corporate supporters to help us reach this goal.

Fundraising events

Our partners and corporate supporters get involved throughout the year by hosting themed events or activities with their employees or clients in aid of Barnardos.

This is a great way to engage employees or bring clients together and have fun while making a difference to transform the lives of vulnerable children in Ireland.

Download our Supporting Barnardos in 2023 brochure and get in contact with louisa.tew@barnardos if you would like to host a company fundraising event

Staff volunteering

This is a great way of uniting employees in a shared purpose and creating an increased sense of team spirit. Barnardos have a number of opportunities for staff to volunteer throughout the year and are happy to arrange these days for our partners and corporate supporters in conjunction with a programme of fundraising activities.

Depending on the size of the group, we would work with you to identify the most suitable option available for your team. Some of the volunteering opportunities available for companies with Barnardos:

  • Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt
The Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt in Merrion Square will no longer take place. Cadbury will still be supporting Barnardos with other eggciting Easter activities for children all over Ireland. Keep an eye on Cadbury website for more information www.cadbury.ie/easter#easter-egg-hunt

  • Barnardos Day to Donate
Get your team together to volunteer to do a collection or bag pack this September in their local community or why not take the fun in-house and capture the imagination of your colleagues by hosting your own fundraising event in support of Barnardos.
  • Team Challenge Days
Would your team like to challenge themselves by stewarding at a family fun day or assisting in our centres with cleaning, painting and gardening projects?
