Barnardos Giving Day, kindly supported by DELL Technologies, will take place on Friday 22nd September 2023.

We are very excited to team up with Ireland’s Classic Hits Radio for a host of activities highlighting the work that we do and encouraging listeners and supporters to ‘click and donate’ what they can.

Why your support is so important

Demand for services has increased

Last year, we worked with 20,838 children and their families, an increase of almost 24% on the previous year. We work every day to give vulnerable children affected by adverse childhood experiences a brighter future, but the demand for our services has never been greater with waiting lists and the acute need for support growing every week.

Cost of living is pulling more children into deprivation

and negatively affecting their health, wellbeing and development. Parents we work with, who were already struggling to cope are now facing a winter of severe financial pressure.

Because Childhood Lasts a Lifetime

Each year Barnardos needs to raise funds to ensure we can reach as many children and families as possible, but we can’t do that alone. One click can make a huge difference to a vulnerable child.

He has no lunch going to school, he can’t afford to go places with his friends, he is sitting in a cold room trying to do his homework.
