Barnardos Birth History Service are pleased to announce an in person support group for birth mothers. The purpose of the once off group is to provide a safe space for birthmothers to meet with others and avail of support.
The group will be a confidential space for birthmothers to share their experiences with others who may have similar experiences.
Topics which may be explored within the group will include:
• Parting with a child for adoption
• How this experience has affected the mother’s life
• Searching for or being contacted by an adopted son or daughter
• Outcomes of search
• Relationships after reunion
