The aim of this workshop is to give guidance on the development and implementation of a supervision structure in an Early Learning and Care setting.

This workshop is suitable for those working in Early Childhood Care and Education who are currently supervising early years educators/students.

This training will be helpful for early learning and care providers, putting in place processes to meet regulatory requirements on staff supervision

Following the workshop participants will be able to:

  • Understand the importance of support and supervision in Early Learning and Care and School Age Childcare
  • Identify the key functions of supervision
  • Consider the key elements of supervision and their application
  • Identify the roles and responsibilities of supervisors and supervisees
  • Use documentation to support and record supervision
  • Reflect on the challenges of supervision

Participants receive a pdf copy of Barnardos publication ‘Supervision in Early Learning and Care Settings’

Participants who complete the training webinar will receive an Attendance Certificate.
